Nederlandse Kooikerhondje Note Cards
A box of 8 notes printed on fine Ivory card stock, envelopes and matching seals featuring the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje. The Nederlandse Kooikerhondje is an old breed, appearing in paintings by the Dutch masters. It was used to lure ducks into the 'Eendenkooi' - Dutch duck-trapping pond systems - before the invention of gunpowder. The breed faced extinction with the development of better duck hunting guns but was revived during the WWII occupation of the Netherlands by the the Baronesse von Hardenbroek van Ammerstol. The Dutch Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1971.
