April Is Coming

Posted by

Yes, it is the middle of March - March Madness, Ides of March, St. Patrick's Day and the Vernal Equinox...hooray Spring - but April is coming! And April is National Card and Letter Writing Month!

The U S Postal Service started it back in 2001 "to raise awareness of the importance and historical significance of card and letter writing." Naw...to sell more stamps. Kidding, sorta.

But card and letter writing IS good for you (read this), and as purveyors of fine note cards we've embraced the concept of celebrating the not yet lost art of manual correspondence by giving away boxes of our note cards all month long! One package of 8 each and every day in April...even weekends this year...30 in total with a grand prize  drawing for really cool gift set for writers at the end.

What do you have to do to win one? Here's the poop...

If you are as pro-letter writing as we are, here are some other ways you can celebrate...

Take the write_on challenge - 30 letters/cards in 30 days Mom actually does this...with her own cards, of course.

Become a Soldier's Angel

Write more letters next February

need more inspiration...

Happy Writing!

What Makes It A Perfect Gift?

No, the answer is not that it came from Zeppa Studios.  But thanks for that. So what does make it the perfect gift? Isn't that the classic first assignment when you get back to school...an essay or presentation about what you did over the summer vacation?
